Xu Huo smiled at her. "No problem."
He Xiaoxiao walked over, quite pleased, and offered to share some of the food she was carrying. "How long have you been in here?"
"Two or three hours." Xu Huo accepted her kind offer.
He Xiaoxiao shook her head with a sigh. "I've been in here half a day. I thought I'd be the first to reach the top, and after finally waiting for the game to start, I walked around for hours without running into anyone... I mean, not a single person. I was so bored on my own. I couldn't even find anyone to keep watch while I went to the bathroom. And let me tell you, the people who designed this maze are seriously twisted. They actually use Mutated Plants as toilets—the kind that specifically feed on carrion. They cling to you, all slimy and disgusting!"
"As far as I know, there are Restrooms in the maze," Xu Huo said, not bothering to be tactful. "Also, relieving yourself wherever you please might provoke the Mutated Plants."
He pointed to an unusually large leaf sticking out near a bend in the passage ahead. "That's the doorbell for a Restroom."
He Xiaoxiao looked at him skeptically. "This isn't my first time in the Poker Card Maze. I've never heard of any Restrooms!"
She darted over in three quick steps and tugged at the leaf. Sure enough, the plants on one side of the maze wall quickly withdrew, revealing a door marked with a Restroom sign. It also displayed the maximum usage time: one hour.
