Fireworks

Compared with the somewhat flashy young nobles around him, Kailuoer, dressed in formal attire, seemed out of place. But his striking appearance and the distinguished air that came with his family background still made him the center of attention, subtly commanding the whole scene.

Kailuoer watched the light and shadows refracted through the glass in his hand, leaning slightly against the transparent railing. He paid no mind to the stares and commotion below.

"Fielder!" one of his female admirers shouted up at him. Kailuoer tilted his head, seemingly glancing down, and that small gesture alone sent the screams to a new pitch.

Someone was so excited that she actually began to cry. Choking back sobs, she said, "I'm so glad I'm from Flower City. Otherwise, I'd never have gotten to see Young Master Fielder in my entire life!"

After surveying the crowd below from their lofty perch and failing to find the prey they wanted, one of the young nobles with long hair snapped his fingers at the security staff inside. An accompanying Player soon left the club, and the young man smiled playfully. "The flowers down there are already wilting. If you want to admire flowers, you should look at the ones that have only just formed buds and are about to bloom."

The men and women laughed knowingly. The baby-faced man beside him said, "Didn't your family take in a few orphans? Why not bring them over for some fun?"

"They're future Players. My family won't let me touch them. Maybe in a year or two." The long-haired young man sounded uninterested.

Before long, a dozen or so boys and girls appeared on the top floor of the club. They all wore jackets bearing the Welfare Park insignia and stood awkwardly before these people of high status.
