"What do you people want? What are you trying to do..." A staff member stepped forward to stop them, but before he could get close, he was hurled against the wall behind him. The Player holding the Photo pinned him there from a distance and asked, "Where is this man?"
"Dr. Dorr has already left..." the staff member struggled to say. "Players hired by Second City took him away several hours ago..."
The Player abruptly tightened his grip. "Do you think I'm stupid? With this many Players showing up, you'd hand him over that easily?"
"We've been watching you for ages. No one's left at all. Hand him over, or I'll start killing!"
"Wait... Are you really Players hired by Second City?" the staff member asked doubtfully. "Were you sent by another Laboratory...?"
Before he could finish, the man was grabbed by the throat again. The man holding the Photo walked up to him and slapped his face with utter contempt. "I know you researchers are used to being particular about everything. You might not listen if we ask nicely. Our only job is to deliver him to Second City alive. We're not bodyguards, responsible for feeding him and taking care of his every need. Since it's his brain they need, losing a hand or a foot wouldn't matter much, would it?"
The staff member glared at him bitterly. Just then, two older staff members came out from inside. They needed no explanation to understand what was happening. "Dr. Dorr has already left. If you don't believe us, come look at the surveillance footage!"
The Player narrowed his eyes and stared at the two for two seconds, then let the staff member go and motioned for them to lead the way. "If you try to lie, you know what'll happen."
