After coming out of the Laboratory, 17 joined up with 19 and 20, who had arrived later, and they surrounded the Player with no number over his head. Seeing that he was losing ground, the unnumbered Player turned and rushed into the Laboratory, tossing a mask outside as he did. The moment it hit the ground, the protective shields worn by the three numbered Players all fell to the floor at once. They also stopped trying to pursue him into the Laboratory.
The three exchanged glances. 17 transferred a sticker item onto 19's new protective shield, then left the defensive barrier again with 20. Left behind, 19 went into the Laboratory in his place.
A faint white gas hung in the Laboratory. It was probably poisonous, and every Player who entered had put on a protective shield.
Luckily, the Laboratory had leaks everywhere, so it wasn't difficult to see what was going on inside. Eleven Players scattered around the Laboratory were still fighting, while more Players had gathered in front of the reinforced Warehouse at the center, facing off against one another.
Fifteen people in total, including several staff members in white coats, were guarding a small blue barrier. It resembled the large barrier outside, but had three layers from the inside out, each thicker than the last. It protected the injured Players and ordinary staff, as well as enclosing the entire reinforced Warehouse behind them.
None of these people had numbers over their heads.

It was clear that the unnumbered side had used some kind of item to distinguish friend from foe, while the numbered side were the intruders.
