After the footsteps outside the door had paced back and forth several times, they finally left. Xu Huo looked at the people in the room and thanked the baseball cap female player who had pulled him inside.
The female player waved it off. "Maris asked me to."
There were six people in the room. Besides Maris, the baseball cap female player, and another companion of theirs wearing a scarf, there was the woman they had rescued during the day and two male players who were quite badly injured.
Maris greeted Xu Huo, then invited him to join their discussion.
"We're trying to figure out the layout of the restaurant," the baseball cap female player said. "Which way did you come from?"
Xu Huo glanced at the sheet of paper on the bed. It showed part of the layout from the restaurant to the guest-room area, including the direction of the corridors, the locations of the rooms, and their numbers.
"From the restaurant, there are about six rooms along the corridor on the way to our location on the right," Maris said. "These two friends came from the other side. They counted about six rooms too."
He pointed to the left.
Xu Huo picked up a pen and added to the drawing. "Past Room 55 is Room 172, which faces the Warehouse."
"Then it connects, doesn't it?" the baseball cap female player said. "This corridor is a circle."
"It should be a hexagon," the woman who had just begun to evolve said, fighting her discomfort. "There are two rooms along the corridor directly opposite the restaurant.
