Xu Huo hadn't actually encountered many mental-type instances himself, so he shared some of the relevant experiences described in the Mental Evolution materials he had collected earlier.
Mental-type instances were extremely tricky for ordinary players. Without understanding what they were dealing with, they might not even know where to start. But no instance was ever truly a dead end. Take "Seventeenth Hospital," for example: the hospital rules warned players not to overthink things. In fact, they could control that tendency, as long as they were strong-willed enough and more willing to trust themselves.
The same was true of other instances. More often than not, the chance to survive was written right into the background information.
