Players were automatically entered into the rankings starting at Class D, when they could learn about other Sub-districts. D-class players were generally ranked across the several Sub-districts belonging to their home Wormhole Point, while C-class players were ranked alongside every player in the entire Wormhole Point. The former was the Ten Thousand People Leaderboard, and the latter the Twenty Thousand People Leaderboard. The C-class leaderboard carried considerable weight, since a single Sub-district could have billions of people.
Xu Huo had looked at the rankings once before. He was in the four-thousands on the Twenty Thousand People Leaderboard for E27 Wormhole Point. While the rankings brought honor and challenges, they didn't mean much to players near the bottom. Even if someone challenged players from another Sub-district, they would surely target those at the top. There were too many people and too many names farther down to be worth looking at.
And C-class players were hardly impressive when ranked across an entire E-class Wormhole Point. Few people cared about the relative strength of the weakest High-level Players, but the leaderboard still existed.
There were Sub-district Joint Leaderboards, single Wormhole Point Leaderboards, and Wormhole Point Joint Leaderboards, in ascending order. The Wormhole Point Joint Leaderboard carried the most weight and had the most entries: fifty thousand, compared to ten thousand for a Sub-district joint ranking and twenty thousand for a single Wormhole Point.
Of course, those fifty thousand were the strongest players among dozens of Wormhole Points of the same level. Even the player in last place could be considered outstanding among players of their level.
Leaderboard positions were based on Dungeon completion ratings, so the higher a player's rating in a given Dungeon, the higher their rank. Making the leaderboard meant performing at a high level in every Dungeon. With so many
