There were more people in the Safe Zone than in the small city. Including the three hundred Ao Quan and the others had snatched from outer districts, there were nearly a thousand in total. Most were young adults. Though the locals in District 010 suffered from genetic diseases, they looked healthier than ordinary people from the outer districts.
Of course, the natural environment and people like Ao Quan automatically weeded out the old and weak.

In District 010, only women could bear children, so there were very few women among those captured from the outer districts. Many of them had died from infections caused by miscarriages.
They were the most frightened of all.
Xu Huo's gaze swept over the group. Few of them paid much attention to him; they watched anxiously as the Safe Zone player spoke from a higher vantage point.
