What a joke. Darkness Under the Lamp and the others were obviously on Xu Huo's side. Since Chang Shoujie believed that Xu Huo had gotten more information about Melissa—and even knew where she was—only an idiot would side with Chang Shoujie and complain about Xu Huo's "deception." Besides, no one had ever suggested how they should team up to clear the level. Unless everyone had agreed beforehand on how to divide the rewards.
"Don't think every player will stop at nothing to get what they want. Most of the time, we're reasonable," Juan Er added, especially when they couldn't win a fight.
Chang Shoujie looked grim, but there was nothing else he could do.
"I don't think he knows anything," the pink-haired man said.
"This is your last chance." Xu Huo looked at Chang Shoujie. "You have ten minutes to think it over."
With that, he left Chang Shoujie where he was and went into the RV to rest.
Some people crouched outside, while others followed him into the RV. By unspoken agreement, no one asked about Melissa or the Alien. They each ate and drank a little, then waited for the ten minutes to pass.
It was so hot in the desert that after only a few minutes, Chang Shoujie was drenched in sweat. He also looked a little weak.
"Will he be okay?" Darkness Under the Lamp glanced into the RV.
"Ten minutes isn't long enough to make anyone that fragile." Xiao Hui crouched five meters away from Chang Shoujie, resting his chin in his hands as he stared at him. "Why are you so stubborn?
