That showed they had no shortage of capable people. The East District Players' loss of control wasn't an isolated incident, and the Rebel Army had been rooted in the East District for so long that they couldn't possibly be unaware of it. On top of that, Mutated Plants capable of sensing mental energy were planted all over the East District, so the Rebel Army must have pieced together at least some of the truth.

Even if they didn't know what made East District Players so efficient and so crazed, they could still see the flaws in their condition. Compared to the vague mental stimulation Xu Huo had mentioned, the Rebel Army might already have conducted specialized tests.
