The East District players made no attempt to put out the fire. Whether they had some other plan or had absolute faith in the metal box's quality, no one could say. In any case, whether they were nearby, locked in a standoff with the Rebel Army, or gathered around the library to watch, everyone remained indifferent, letting the metal box get blasted into the air in all directions.

The metal box really was sturdy. All those instruments and tools hadn't managed to destroy it completely; they'd only left its shell dented and misshapen. It clattered around for a while, and it was hard to tell whether the Potion inside was still intact.

The box flew high into the air, then came back down. In the end, it headed south of the library, rolling along and even knocking several players aside. When it finally stopped, a masked player intercepted it.

"Isn't this a good thing? Why does everyone look like they don't want it?"

The other player was short and slight, with a voice that sounded like a youth's. He'd appeared out of nowhere and landed on top of the metal box, raising one leg before bringing it down hard. He smashed a third of the box into the ground. Now standing on it, he surveyed the East District players keeping their distance from the library and continued, "You people from Agor Company are such cowards. You've laid so many decoys over just one Potion. If it were me, I'd bring the thing out and put it on display for everyone to see, then tell the Rebel Army they could come and take it if they wanted. After that, I'd kill every batch that came, until there wasn't a single Rebel Army member left!"

The East District players didn't react, but
