Jiang Chengfeng grinned. "Hunt down East District players."
Just as Xu Huo had expected, he didn't say much. Jiang Chengfeng was very outgoing. Watching Xu Huo rummage through Agor's underground facilities, he asked, "You're interested in this stuff, too?"
It wasn't that he underestimated Agor's financial resources. Many of the instruments here were very advanced and could fetch a good price if sold. He wouldn't have been surprised if another player had done this, but Xu Huo didn't look like he was short on money.
"Even a tiny mosquito is still meat, and these are more like chicken legs." Xu Huo picked up an instruction manual next to a large instrument. To maintain absolute control over its technology, Agor had installed self-destruct programs in many of its instruments. If one changed hands and its verification information wasn't updated in time, it would self-destruct the first time its new owner used it.
Cracking the identity verification took time, so it wasn't worth the effort. Selling the instruments as they were wouldn't fetch much, either. But there were plenty of machines in the headquarters' underground lab that hadn't yet been registered to anyone. Those were the new machines Xu Huo wanted. He contacted the Special Defense Department and asked them to find a spacious place to receive the instruments. They could discuss the price afterward.
Machines with identity verification might pose a certain danger, so he didn't take any of those. He took only the new machines.
Jiang Chengfeng had talked a good game, but he didn't hesitate when it came time to act. He didn't just take instruments—he also looted plenty of potions, and generously shared a good number of them with Xu Huo.
Xu Huo stored the potions, which took up little space, in his Storage Compartment. Their brief "harvest"
