However, within an hour of the windows being sealed, several more players began experiencing symptoms like nightmares and hallucinations. Some were woken in time, but two were killed on the spot after getting into conflicts with other players.
In this atmosphere, anxiety began to spread.
"Could this be an Alien too?" the high-ponytailed player asked. "Weren't the Aliens supposed to attack the marked people first?"
Xu Huo had brought this up, so quite a few people instinctively glanced toward the rear. Unfortunately, the doors to the tenth and eleventh cars were closed, so they couldn't see what was happening back there.
"Why are the last two cars so quiet? Has nobody died?" someone asked.
The passengers in the front cars all turned around. The people in the ninth car were the first to open their door. After counting heads, they found that nobody was missing, which left them somewhat disappointed.
"What's with those looks?" the blond player said sourly. "You look pretty disappointed that we're all fine."
"Nothing happened to you?" Several people in the front cars had already been affected, with at least one in nearly every car. Wasn't it strange that nothing had happened in the tenth car?
"No conflicts so far," the red-bandanna player answered honestly. Since they had all been marked, no one had dared to sleep, so there had been no nightmares.
"What about the car behind you?" A player went over and opened the door to the eleventh car. The atmosphere there was better than in the cars ahead. The fortune-teller was cooking with her own cookware and food.
Although Xu Huo was leaning back on the sofa with his eyes closed, the rise and fall of his chest showed that he was alive.
"You really haven't been affected at all?" the high-ponytailed player
