After turning down Mr. Dong's proposal, Xu Huo got a good night's sleep. It wasn't until the next morning that he started sorting through the belongings of the players he'd killed in Yuquan City.
There was quite a lot. Aside from items, instruments, potions, and tickets, there were all sorts of other odds and ends.
There were several A-class items, but none were top-tier. He picked out just one Defense Artifact, Rainbow Light, and two B-class items that helped channel mental power. From the instruments, he selected a few that could interfere with mechanical combat tools, such as robots and aircraft.
He traded most of the rest to the Special Defense Department. They could either trade him other items or buy them at a high price. Along with the instruments he'd sent back earlier, he received two decent-looking Defense Artifacts designed to counter certain Abilities, as well as an IOU. Clearly, no amount of White Cash could make up for the value of those A-class items, so the Special Defense Department promised to find him a high-grade mental-type item.
If the Special Defense Department could use the really good stuff, how could it possibly end up in his hands?
Still, this was the greatest show of sincerity they could offer. Even if they had the money, top-tier items weren't something they could simply buy.
Xu Huo accepted the IOU without saying much.
As for the other potions, tickets, and ordinary instruments, he gave some to Yuan Yao, Zhou Ning, and Gu Yu, then bundled up and sold the rest.
The things in the Storage Compartment were mostly valuable items from different Sub-districts, along with a few collectibles that were clearly personal hobbies. He took out the Sub-class Stones and precious metals, then sold or got rid of
