All three dolls found today were defective. The Players who got them were furious. They hadn't broken any rules—not like Fluorescent Powder, who had damaged the ornaments, or the sweet girl, who had ruined someone else's doll. Yet when it came to them, not a single doll was intact.
Only twelve people remained in the Dungeon: Xu Huo, Fluorescent Powder, the sweet girl, the glasses player, the purple-clothed woman, the older man who had gotten a doll today, and two other Players. Three people still had yet to get a doll, so the first round of doll-making would be over tomorrow. As for whether the seventh day would bring repaired dolls or new ones, they would have to wait and see.
Judging by the order in which the dolls had appeared, the repairs should begin with the first defective doll. But that would mean the later a Player got their doll, the longer it would take for it to reappear. The dolls from today and tomorrow might be especially crude, on top of being defective. It was hard to say whether that counted as part of the repair process.
Apart from the last three Players who still hadn't gotten dolls, the others no longer cared much about sticking to their agreement to stay together. After the painted woman had been gone for a long time, one or two even wanted to leave the dining room and go elsewhere.
