The two players at the table beside them didn't deny it, which was as good as confirming Xu Huo's guess.

"Are you stuck here, or did you choose to stay?" Xu Huo asked. Then he answered his own question: "Either way, it's pretty much the same."

After being stuck here for long enough, Outer District Players had no choice but to side with the local players. Otherwise, once they left, they'd have to face high-risk Dungeons far more dangerous than this Sub-district.

Xu Huo didn't pursue the subject. Instead, he said, "We're heading to the next satellite city tomorrow. If you don't trust me, you can persuade A Hai to travel with you."

After dinner, he went back to the hotel and slept.

They didn't get up for breakfast until the following morning. A local did come by to talk to A Hai, but soon left.

"Why didn't you go with them?" Huang Shuai asked from across the table. "Your own people are more trustworthy than Outer District Players, aren't they?"

"It's not that simple," A Hai said quietly. "When you're away from home, you can't trust everyone you meet."

Though the town was isolated, the news had reported cases of Outer District Players pretending to be locals to con people. Bisexuals were common here but rare in other Sub-districts, so even if they had no other value, people themselves could be sold.
