Xu Huo reached out and grabbed the key, then raised it slightly. "Thanks!"
"No problem." The tall man suddenly thrust his arm into the maze's green wall of plants and pulled out a key. He showed Xu Huo the number on it. "109. Come chat sometime."

After they turned down the first corridor, the maze began to open up. This Space Prison was very different from the mazes people generally imagined. It consisted of courtyards connected in every direction, with corridors that stretched as far as the eye could see. Identical doors appeared every few meters. None had a number, and the rooms behind them were obscured by a layer of gray haze, making it impossible to see inside.

Looking back now, they could no longer see the other end of the corridor. The maze's undulating spatial structures blocked their view and had scattered the crowd, which had seemed so packed together at first.
