They Came All This Way
Early the next morning, the group gathered for breakfast. With some rare time off, they discussed a few Dungeons they had experienced, shared what they'd learned, and explored new ways to use their items, such as how to combine them and when it was best to use items with limited charges.
Xu Huo had just come into a windfall, and he hadn't finished selling off all the items he'd collected. So he simply brought them out and let the others pick what suited them.
Most of the Players he'd killed were B-class Players. There might not have been many good A-class items, but there were plenty of good B-class items.
Yuan Yao was on a video call with Liu Jia. When he saw the table covered in items, his eyes nearly popped out of his head. "Finders keepers!"
"Then come over," Xu Huo said, unconcerned. Selling a few more or a few less items wouldn't make much difference to the price.
"I'm on my way!" Yuan Yao immediately said. "Save a few good ones for me!"
He was quick, too. Just a few minutes after putting down the Communicator, he arrived. He charged in and flopped onto the table. "Brother Xu, you're amazing! You don't need all these items?"
"They're all for sale. Pick out a few you like." Xu Huo casually selected an item and handed it to him. "Try this one."
Yuan Yao took it at once and excitedly tested it several times. Only then did he put on a show of bashfulness. "I'm not even C-class yet, and I can already use an A-class item. Isn't that a bit extravagant?"
"If you don't need it, you can give it back." Xu Huo glanced up at him.
