The changes to the Seventeenth Hospital lasted about an hour before they finally stopped.
The original three buildings had expanded to eight. They were no longer crammed together as before, but spread out around a sizable lake, with considerable distance between each building and plenty of greenery surrounding them. Overall, the grounds were much nicer than before.
Of course, the hospital buildings had also been renovated. The entrance had been moved to the outer edge of the grounds, and it took several minutes to walk from the gate to the outpatient building. The building serving as the hospital's main entrance was made up primarily of examination rooms and interventional treatment rooms, further divided by specialty. Most of these would probably go unused for now. The building's main purpose was to receive Players who had just entered the Dungeon.
Beyond the outpatient building stood the First Hospital Building, behind and to its left. The Second Hospital Building stood behind and to its right. Beyond the First and Second Hospital Buildings were the Laboratory Building and the Nursing Home. The Laboratory Building was the former infectious disease isolation and treatment building, and non-medical personnel were forbidden from entering. The Nursing Home still had patient rooms, but its surroundings were much better than those of the First and Second Hospital Buildings. Each floor had only four or five spacious, bright rooms, each with its own restroom, shower, and sitting room.
The Nursing Home offered the best accommodations, but the First and Second Hospital Buildings weren't too bad either. The Third Hospital Building, beyond the Laboratory Building, was another story: even its doors and windows had been welded shut with metal. There were no openings large enough for anyone to squeeze through, and fences had been installed in the corridors and on every floor.
