The young man behind Screen 6 was the second to call. Xu Huo had raised the stakes by two items, so he had to add one more on top of that. That meant at least two A-class items and another item of some kind.
He added two A-class items as well. Along with the opening stakes, that brought the pot for this round to five A-class items.
"Whether I can bring them out is none of your concern," the young man behind Screen 6 snapped. "The question is, are you in or not?"
"Why wouldn't I be?" Number 7 chuckled softly. "I'll add two items too: one A-class item and one A-class instrument."
He added six A-class items, instruments included.
"Getting worked up already in the second round? You can't keep your cool." Number 1 sighed. "I'm out."
"Just say you're afraid to lose instead of dressing it up in fancy words!" The young man behind Screen 6 scoffed, then asked Numbers 2 and 4 across from him, "What about you?"
Number 4 was a woman. Her voice was cool, and there was a hint of displeasure with Number 1 in her words. "If you're too old to handle the pressure, you can quit early."
"I'll add three A-class items."
A handful of items flew out and landed scattered across the carpet.
"A-class items! Those are A-class items, and they're just tossing them on the floor!" The round-faced Player was so excited his face reddened. He marveled at the sight, lamented his own poverty, then couldn't help worrying aloud. "Won't you get targeted by the others for doing that?"
After all, Xu Huo had been the first to raise the stakes. The Players who came after him had their pride to consider, so none had thrown in B- or C-class
