Xu Huo and Bubble Bean turned their gazes to Ling Ling. Taking someone else's belongings right under their noses was more than a minor dispute.
Ling Ling frowned. "I didn't take anything from that house. Besides, I already explained what happened. A Player ambushed me, and I accidentally ended up on your property. I left yesterday without incident, and now you're telling me something's missing. Why not investigate your own people first?"
Her tone was blunt, but neither the Players nor the middle-aged man who had come with them got angry. "If we hadn't already checked our own people, we wouldn't have come here," the man said.
Ling Ling grew angry. "What? You lost something, so I must have stolen it? Why don't you call the law enforcement team over?"
"There are things even the law enforcement team can't attend to. Besides, we have proof that you entered that room. The surveillance footage from before and after confirms it. We've checked everyone else who entered the room during that time, and none of them took it," the middle-aged man said.

"The bee isn't aggressive, so you don't need to worry."
Ling Ling pressed one hand down toward the table. An invisible force covered the box from a distance, denting its metal lid. She gave a cold smile. "Why
