Don't Sculpt Anyone
Cross-district transportation tools were fairly common in the game. Most were devices, like the large teleportation devices Xu Huo had seen when he went to Granny Bai's Sub-district and at the Xin family's home in the Platinum Eye. Compared with the Inversion Ring, these devices were huge and could only be used a few times, making them unquestionably expensive consumables. Whether that was due to technological limitations or deliberate restrictions on technology, devices were the most common means of cross-district travel in the game.
Super Artifacts had usage restrictions too, but they could be used multiple times and were easy to carry.
However, although the Inversion Ring was a Super Artifact, it stopped working outside the game. The Little Inversion Ring also couldn't be used at District 001's entrance and exit. To help the people of District 001 escape, they would at least have to get them into a space like Metal City or Metal Forest, then use the Inversion Ring to take them out. The Super Dungeon itself hadn't been opened, so it probably couldn't restrict travel between districts.
Of course, that was the roundabout way. The more direct way was to break through the blockade at the entrance and exit. That would let not only the people of District 001 but Xu Huo leave as well.
Xu Huo didn't put the ring on his finger. Instead, he used an item to tie it to his wrist and hid it inside his sleeve.
He glanced again at the still-open black passage and said with heartfelt sincerity, "Thank you."
When he came out, the painted woman was there with Bubble Bean, whose face was almost ruined. Qiu Xiangming and five other District 001 Players, all covered in injuries, were waiting obediently on the street outside the building.
