Meeting Across Time
The entire District 001 was in turmoil. Compared with the District Government's oppression and grief, the Outer District forces were much more at ease. The Outer District Players who already lived in District 001 had lent their support, and the Holy Sword Society had worked tirelessly on their behalf. In truth, only a handful of the people who had brought about this occupation war had even shown up.
Aside from the Silver Robe who had been killed by Xu Huo, the others were all aboard a spatial ship not far from District 001. They had not set foot in District 001 at all.
After the Silver Robe had been gone from District 001 for a long time without returning, one person left the ship and entered District 001 through a passage reserved by a Super Player in a Super Dungeon.
By sheer coincidence, he chose the very passage Xu Huo had just visited.
Although this passage couldn't be opened, the Holy Sword Society members guarding it had all been killed. District 001 had sent several Players to watch over it, so the moment the newcomer stepped out, they attacked him.
He wore a casual tracksuit and had casually put a Crystal Mask over his face. He strolled out of the passage as though no one could stop him, then lightly tapped the air with one hand. The invisible Space Power sliced the attacking Players into several pieces.
"I went too far." The newcomer's blue eyes lingered on the bodies for a moment before he ordered the two surviving Players, "Take your companions back. Don't throw your lives away over something meaningless."
Their companions had been killed right in front of them. How could the two let that go? But when they attacked, they met the same fate
