"Isn't it still up in the air?" Lei Xiaohe said with a laugh. "He only gave me a hint."
"Think about it. If the sub-district really falls into turmoil, how are we Outer District Players supposed to clear the level? Of course we'd want to clear it and leave as soon as possible. Otherwise, when the time comes, we might not be able to leave even if we want to!"
"I don't think leaving is all you have in mind," Zhou Juanjuan interjected. "If something happens that throws the sub-district into chaos, the Sub-district Government probably won't be able to keep an eye on everything. It'll be much easier to loot, kill, and pillage, too."
"Juan, how can you say that? What kind of person do you take me for?" Lei Xiaohe said righteously. "My sole intention is to find a way out for friends from all over!"
"Brother, even if you're not going to be a good person, you can't do things that'll make you lose your balls," Levi said, patting him on the shoulder. "Taking advantage of the sub-district's chaos to kick someone when they're down is no better than being an animal."
"Come on, why don't you believe me?" Lei Xiaohe said hurriedly. "I'm not that ambitious. At most, I'd sneak off and steal a few things for fun. Otherwise, how would I even earn a broker's fee?"
"Have you cleared the level?" Xu Huo suddenly asked.
Lei Xiaohe put on a bashful smile. "I got lucky."
Three of the four people in the room rolled their eyes.
"Brother Xu, believe me. I just wanted to use this opportunity to get my hands on the information," Lei Xiaohe said quickly. "Of course, I won't pretend I don't have any other ideas. District 022
