Everyone Was the Same
It was true. Xu Huo himself had evolved using a Perfect Potion, and even Zhou Juanjuan and Levi, who could no longer use one, couldn't help listening closely. Perfect Evolution was the ultimate dream in every player's heart. They could barely imagine how wonderful and carefree life would be after escaping the Aftereffects of Evolution—not to mention what it would be like to become an A-class player or even advance further.
Leijie Lian glanced at their expressions and smiled. "Nobody doesn't want a Perfect Potion."
"Does District 022 have one?" Xu Huo asked. "Even if it does, it's classified at the highest level. How much more could you possibly know?"
"Just tell me, do you want it or not?" Leijie said smugly. "They think I'm easy to fool, but the truth is, I know more secrets than anyone."
There was probably a lot of exaggeration in that, but given her special status, it wasn't surprising she'd heard classified information.
"Where?" Xu Huo got straight to the point.
"You'll have to take me with you," Leijie said. "Even if I tell you the location, how would you know where the Potion is kept or what it looks like?"
"Let me make one thing clear: you can't torture me for information," she added. "The information could be outdated. What if they've moved the Potion or changed who's guarding it? You'll need me along to adapt to whatever happens."
"She has a point," Levi said. "The people of District 022 understand its ins and outs best."
"She's obviously up to something," Zhou Juanjuan said bluntly. "It could be a trap."
"Even if it is, aren't you tempted?" Leijie urged them slyly. "If it were me, I'd definitely take the chance."
Xu Huo didn't mind, and took her with them.
