Clearing the Dungeon
Sure enough, after Xu Huo and the others entered the other spaces, they found three more newly arrived Players.
By now, even Xu Huo's group—and even Xiong Xiaoxin and the others, who had been wavering over whether they could afford to delay a few more days—felt that dragging things out any longer would likely lead to disaster.
To avoid unnecessary casualties, Xiong Xiaoxin came forward on behalf of her Player organization and explained that they had found a way to clear the dungeon, but would need to reduce their numbers.
The three newcomers were no match for the larger group, so they had no choice but to agree. However, one of them insisted on staying outside and acting alongside Xu Huo's group, saying that he had two life-saving items that could help draw fire.
Xu Huo rejected his proposal and told him to hand over the two life-saving items instead.
After checking all the spaces, Xu Huo ultimately decided to leave two people outside besides himself: Xiong Xiaoxin and the bearded man.
Xiong Xiaoxin had the most life-saving items. Xu Huo had plenty as well, of course, and Wang Xin, the others, and the Bailin Association members had provided several good ones, half of which were One-Time Items.
The bearded man was staying because his Ability was unusual. He wanted to see whether it could help him avoid the Dungeon Boss.
Staying outside was the only way to clear the dungeon. It was dangerous, but the bearded man was still more than willing.
