"What do you mean, gone?" the short-haired female player pressed. Pengfei City wasn't one of the Twelve Main Cities, but it was a large city built by some of the players who had stayed behind. It had a large population and strong forces, and Scepter City had been trying to win it over.

The newcomer looked somewhat panicked. "The entire city collapsed. Our people said it started suddenly in the northwest and spread across the whole city in the blink of an eye. The buildings and even the metal used for the foundations all turned to powder. Once the ground gave way, the buildings above collapsed too..."

"Didn't you catch whoever did it?" the short-haired female player immediately asked. "Was there any major conflict in the city?"

The young player shook his head. "The people in Pengfei City are searching everywhere for the culprit, but I suspect he's already gone."

"This is the real warning," Mr. Hu said.

He had chosen Pengfei City, which wasn't one of the Twelve Main Cities, to show the others that he could destroy a large city with ease—and the Twelve Main Cities were no exception. If he lost hope of clearing the Dungeon, he would destroy the cities these players had worked so hard to build, even if only to vent his anger!

"Did he really do it?" The others were anxious too. No one had ever destroyed a city before. They had built their cities by expanding on the ones that were already there, and it was hard to say whether the destruction of the Twelve Main Cities or the removal of the King's Treasure was more likely to cause the Dungeon to disappear!

If the Dungeon vanished, every last one of them would die!
