Although "Script" was a predictive Ability, Xu Huo had also suspected that it might involve Curved Time. But "Script" wasn't unchangeable.
Jin Feixue had a Super Dimensional Instrument. Even if it could only be used once, it greatly limited his combat strength. Ideally, Xu Huo would make the instrument disappear.
But ordinary methods of removing or stealing an item probably wouldn't make Jin Feixue let go of the instrument. The only opportunity was when he used it, because once it was activated, Jin Feixue would certainly put some distance between them.
After his first death in "Script," Xu Huo shouldn't have rashly used Transdimensional Space Power to destroy the instrument. He should have thrown it into Dark Space instead.
But he had still failed on the third try. No matter what decisions he made along the way, they were bound to be the most appropriate for the situation at hand. Since he hadn't done it, that meant the circumstances at the time hadn't allowed it.
"Script" had previewed some possibilities, but once he changed tactics, Jin Feixue's behavior would inevitably change too. So he couldn't treat "Script" as foresight. His only advantage now was knowing what the Super Dimensional Instrument looked like and what contingency Jin Feixue had arranged for Capital City.
Moving the battlefield elsewhere was clearly impossible. If Xu Huo didn't wait in Capital City, his opponent might not even show up. Nor was it realistic to drag Jin Feixue away with him during the fight. Whale of the Ghastly Sound Knights hadn't appeared in either of the first two clashes. Presumably, if Xu Huo and Jin Feixue both left District 014, Whale would take over as the contingency.
Likewise, Xu Huo couldn't withdraw from the battlefield midway. The moment
