"An A-class wormhole point has developed a brain-link chip that can upload and store a person's memories. Whether it can let someone's consciousness live forever in a terminal is still unknown."
Xu Huo frowned. "Wouldn't that mean people's brains are transparent to these instruments?"
"Not entirely," Tang Guangbo said. "The human brain has a Mental Defense Line. The strange thing is, no matter how strong or weak a person's mind is in scientific terms, this defense is extremely difficult to breach."
"It's more like an energy people are born with, driven by their will."
"If the Mental Defense Line can't be penetrated, the instruments can't roam through the ocean of memories. They'll produce discrepancies and gaps, or even graft memories together."
