Package Three and Challenge Island
But just as Xu Huo seemed about to choose one of the first two packages, another Player came in. He looked haggard, his eyes bloodshot. After entering, he didn't even glance at Xu Huo, going straight to the man. "I want to go to Challenge Island."
The man's smile immediately became sincere. He waved a contract over to the Player. "Once you've signed, you can join the next group heading to Challenge Island."
The Player signed without hesitation. At the same time, his wristband was locked. He opened his personal account, which showed that he had already signed two contracts with the company—Package One and Package Two. Yet now he had come back to sign up for Package Three.
In other words, the first two packages ultimately led to the same destination.
Players came and went, each taking less than a minute.
Only after watching the Player leave did Xu Huo say, "He can leave District 025."
The man chuckled. "Where could you enjoy your retirement better than at an A-class wormhole point? In other wormhole point sub-districts, you might not be able to buy good Potions. Even if you can, they'll cost you more."
"My personal advice is to go straight for Package Three and take a chance."
"Your signs of regression aren't severe yet, which gives you a huge advantage over other Players."
Xu Huo's expression relaxed a little, and a hint of smugness surfaced. Still, he asked, "What is Challenge Island?"
"An island where you challenge the limits of survival," the man replied. "As long as you make it out alive, what you gain might far exceed what I've told you."
"Can you withdraw partway through?" Xu Huo asked.
The man gave him a strange look. "There's no turning back in life."
