Entreaty
"It's you again." This time, when he saw Xu Huo, he was clearly not as smug as before. He gritted his teeth. "You're like a ghost that won't leave me alone!"
"I'd like to ask you about something." Xu Huo smiled at him. "Will you come over, or should I come to you?"
The man sneered and turned to run without another word. But even with all his gadgets, the city was only so big, and he had to avoid other players. He couldn't make it around twice without running into Xu Huo again, so there was no way he could shake him.
Every time he thought he'd lost Xu Huo, the man would unexpectedly appear in some corner of his sight... The seventh time he saw that smiling face, the man finally couldn't take it anymore. He stopped inside a building. "What do you want?"
"I heard Dr. Wu left a Perfect Potion on the island," Xu Huo said.
At first, the man looked incredulous. Then realization dawned, and finally he sneered. "So you came to the island on purpose, chasing after the Perfect Potion."
"How ridiculous. There are actually players who'd go to all this trouble to come to the island for a Perfect Potion."
Xu Huo smiled faintly. "I'm already here, so it won't hurt to look around. Maybe I'll get lucky."
"The Perfect Potion has already been taken." The man grinned maliciously. "Since you know there's a Perfect Potion on the island, you should also know how much effort the District Government put in. Why would they hand the island over if they hadn't found anything?"
Xu Huo sighed softly. "Then why not tell me what you've seen?"
He traced a path through the air with his finger, mimicking a streak of light flying past.
