The reason was simple: Carmen's halo shone too brightly. So brightly that even family members with differing opinions could not help extending the same expectations and tolerance to Kailuoer, who resembled him so closely. The family's decisions and considerations involved many factors, but none of that could entirely conceal their personal feelings or the fact that Carmen was the "Morning Star" in everyone's hearts.
