The woman turned around, swiftly mixed the juice, and brought some snacks over to Xu Huo as well. "Please enjoy."
"Sit down and chat?" Xu Huo called after her.
The woman looked back and smiled. "We don't offer companionship services here."
"There aren't any other customers anyway." Xu Huo took out several White Cash bills and placed them on the table.
With an elegant spin, the woman returned and placed her hand over the White Cash on the table. "What do you want to talk about?"
"Let's talk about this little city." Xu Huo took a sip of juice. "There are people constantly coming and going here. It's a little noisy."
"What's wrong with lively? Customers mean business." The woman said, "It's too hot at noon right now. Once it cools down, there'll be more customers."
"The customers come from other districts, right? Why would they come to see the sea at noon? Everyone hates getting sunburned at this hour."
"I'm looking for someone," Xu Huo said.
The woman gave him a mischievous smile. "There are plenty of beauties here. Romantic love stories happen practically every day. You've come to the right place."
Xu Huo smiled and shook his head. "Not looking for a lover. I'm looking for someone I know."
"I see." Only then did the woman sit down. "What does your friend look like? Maybe I've seen her."
"A young woman. An ordinary person who wouldn't draw a second glance in a crowd. She can paint, but her paintings are rather pessimistic and not very popular," Xu Huo said.
A subtle change came over the woman's expression. "You're looking for someone, fine, but why are you badmouthing her? Is she your enemy?"
"Not really. We're just not close," Xu Huo said. "I need to find her for something."
