"District 009 hasn't had any particularly famous political incidents in the past century." Xu Huo did not beat around the bush. "The people backing you probably haven't entirely given up on you. You remain here because some of your clansmen were taken away, aren't you?"
The mild-tempered old man was not surprised. He took a drink to moisten his throat. "Whatever you may be curious about, the facts are as they are."
