Chapter 3232: Restricted Zone Coordinates

Xu Huo did not leave. He stayed in the small courtyard and examined the kaleidoscope.

It was a rather intricately made kaleidoscope. With each turn, the tiny components inside moved along with it, and different arrangements produced subtle variations in the patterns displayed.

Lady Feng sipped her tea and said unhurriedly, "I've looked at this kaleidoscope countless times. I couldn't tell how it differed from any of the others sold on the market."

Xu Huo said nothing. His full attention was on the kaleidoscope. Only after turning it dozens of times in succession did he look up and use the Jixin Terminal to look up information on this Sub-district.

Lady Feng glanced at him and slowly speared a small pastry from her plate. "Fine food is a pleasure, but for some people, simply staying alive is enough—they don't care what they eat. It's one thing when circumstances don't allow it, but anyone who still lives like that despite having the means is either a Player or an idiot."

Xu Huo seemed not to have heard her. He slowly zoomed the map in on a location within the Sub-district's Restricted Zone.

District 007 had a Rock Forest Restricted Zone running through the entire Sub-district. This area intermittently interfered with props and instruments, especially teleportation equipment. The intervals of interference followed no fixed pattern, but because it split the Sub-district in two, anyone traveling close to the ground had to pass through it. It was also an area with a relatively high accident rate.

The kaleidoscope itself contained no recorded information, but every time its pattern changed, the number of triangles making up that pattern changed as well. There was a pattern to those numbers, and the places where they suddenly skipped were naturally highly unusual.
