Streetlights cast a dim yellow glow over the road. It was already late at night, and the occasional car that passed by sped along. Nobody walked the streets, and even the stray cats and dogs had vanished.

Zhao Sheng made his way toward Guangde Mall along the high-rise buildings, keeping an eye on his surroundings. He took two detours before finally letting his guard down, never imagining that the one following him was a balloon floating in the sky.

Guangde Mall had been built by one of the rich young masters. As soon as he joined the Holy Sword Society, he offered up his family's mall as a temporary base. There was plenty of foot traffic, so the Society's members blended in without drawing attention. If one or two people went missing now and then, nobody would notice anything amiss.

He entered through a small door downstairs. The Player who opened it stared at him in surprise. "You came alone?"

"Where's the boss? I need to talk to him," Zhao Sheng said grimly.

The Holy Sword Society had only a little over a dozen members to begin with. Half had left, leaving just seven or eight at the mall. They were all on the third floor now.

"There were at least five or six of them, and they were specifically targeting the Holy Sword Society. They might even be from the Special Affairs Bureau," Zhao Sheng said. "Boss, we can't just sit here and wait to die!"

"Exactly!" someone else chimed in. "I've hated those people from the Special Affairs Bureau for ages. They act like they've got authority just because they've got a little power, going around arresting Red Players. We should teach them a lesson and show them what we're capable
