I Genuinely Want to Talk

"Hey, why are you opening the door?!" a man inside the city roared at the driver, but the driver, with strings around his neck, dared not speak, desperately signaling the others with his eyes.

There were quite a few people on the bus: fourteen young, beautiful girls with terrified expressions, and five rough-looking fugitives. One of them was bandaging a chest wound in the back seat, and at his feet lay two girls. One, with her skirt pulled up, was unconscious, while the other was bleeding profusely from her head and dazed.

The girl who had appeared by the window earlier was being pinned down on her seat, her head under the boot of a bald man. The other three were scattered in the middle of the bus, huddled close to the trembling girls.

Seeing Xu Huo, the girl whose head was being stepped on suddenly struggled, flipping the bald man over. She opened her mouth and silently screamed for help!

"Slap!" The bald man slapped her away and grabbed her hair, lifting her up. He said sinisterly, "You think you can play hero just because you've become an evolved one? I'll kill you however I want!"

He said this for Xu Huo to hear. The bus doors were already closed, and the curtains on the front and back windows were drawn. In the confined space, the three men, excluding the injured one, stood up.

Xu Huo's gaze swept over them. "I don't know how long you plan to block the road. Why don't we sit in the front and talk?"

He wasn't asking for their opinion; it was a demand.

One of the tall, strong men with long hair brushed it aside. "Who do you think you are, daring to act tough in front of us..."
