"Someone you know?" Xu Huo asked.

Bian Yongyi did his best to stride along on his short legs. "We had a bit of a history."

Xu Huo didn't ask for details. But when they reached the villa, they found a car parked outside. A young man with a crew cut waved at Bian Yongyi when he saw them. "You actually managed to borrow a house. We're staying here tonight, so give me the key."

Bian Yongyi's face fell. "Weren't you following Young Master Xie? What, he couldn't even find you a place to stay?"

The young man sneered. "Look at you, Bian Yongyi, talking back now. I guess you've forgotten the last time you got shoved into a toilet and made to eat shit. Want me to jog your memory?"

Veins bulged on Bian Yongyi's forehead. "This house belongs to a player under President Chang. I borrowed it. You think you can stay here?"

"Whether I can has nothing to do with a Dwarf like you." The young man climbed out of the car, fists clenched, and walked toward him.

Bian Yongyi immediately took two steps behind Xu Huo.

The young man seemed to notice Xu Huo for the first time and sneered. "So that's why you've gotten brave—you brought backup. You're a D-class player. What kind of High-level Player could you possibly know? Don't tell me he's a D-class player too!"

"What, you're going to stand up for this runt?"

"Your personal grudges have nothing to do with me." Xu Huo paused, then added, "I'm curious, though. Did you really pin him down in a toilet?"

"As a player, your way of bullying people is both unoriginal and unhygienic."

The crew-cut young man had a short fuse. He swore and lunged at Xu Huo.
