Xu Huo glanced at the number on the man in the raincoat: 326.

His partner wasn't a Player. The woman seemed especially frightened. Her voice trembling, she tried to negotiate with him. "I can't complete the black-ball task, so I'm not choosing a black ball either. Could you not choose one, too?"

The man in the raincoat nodded.

The woman managed a strained smile. "Which ball do you want to choose...?"

The man in the raincoat pointed at the white ball.

The woman froze, seemingly surprised by how agreeable he was. Mustering her courage, she suggested, "How about we complete the task together..."

Before she could finish, the man in the raincoat chose the white ball.

He left the decision entirely to the woman.

With trembling hands and legs, the woman walked over to the projected balls. Her gaze shifted between the white and yellow ones. After a struggle, she finally chose the white ball.

The random result selected the man in the raincoat. The woman repeatedly bowed and thanked him, but whenever she moved closer, he stepped back. He wouldn't even talk to her, let alone let her approach.

You Si found it hilarious. "Could he be a social phobe? I've never seen a man this shy."

The man in the raincoat turned his face toward them. His hair hung so thickly over his face that his eyes were completely hidden. It was only fair to say he was "looking" at them: he paused briefly in their direction, then quickly turned away.

His assigned task was to catch an immature piranha at the aquarium.

"That task shouldn't be hard," You Si remarked.

Many people thought the same, but the next second, the man in the raincoat appeared in an enclosed body of water. The projection showed that
