C171 Train
The trains traveling to other Wormhole Points were quite different from the ones before.
First, there were more types of carriages. Before, there had only been passenger carriages and a dining car. Now, in addition to those, there was a separate lounge where Players could pay to pass the time, and the number of dining cars had increased from one to three.
Next, there were the carriages themselves. They used to have mostly twenty-four seats, but now each carriage had twelve small rooms, one at each of the four corners, with a communal lounge in the middle containing tables, chairs, and other furnishings. It was more than enough space for twelve people to relax.
The doors between carriages worked just as before. The door to the carriage behind could be opened directly from the one in front, but to enter the carriage ahead, passengers had to ring the doorbell.
Lastly, there was the train's appearance. Previously, the sides and roof of the train had been made of transparent material, but the partitions by the doors between carriages were opaque. You could only see the Transfer Carriage and the doors to the carriages ahead and behind through the windows in the middle. Now, aside from everyday items and decorations, all the walls inside the train—including those of the rooms and Restrooms—were transparent. The Restrooms and rooms could be fogged over at the touch of a switch, and the doors between carriages had been changed to automatic doors that slid open to either side.
Overall, the entire train felt much more high-tech. Passengers ordered food using projection screens, and automated hovering robots served it. They could choose to eat in their carriage or in the dining car, which no longer had a threshold.
The Conductors usually stayed in the lounge.
