Encountering a Living Specimen
Before the blizzard arrived, Xu Huo and the others hurried along as fast as they could. They had covered less than a third of the distance through the woods when the blizzard blotted out their view, making it nearly impossible to walk.
Xu Huo took out the Twisting Pulley. The four separate wheels automatically adjusted their spacing when placed on the ground. With a board laid across them, they could just about serve as a flatbed cart, and they could certainly carry people. The only question was how much weight they could bear.
He tried placing Shelter 101 on top. To his surprise, the pulleys sank slightly, then quickly lifted the shelter up.

He drew the route directly on the screen, then stuck the remote against the wall. With a slight pull, the pulleys beneath the shelter began to turn.
Xu Huo watched for a while under his umbrella. The remote-control item could indeed correct their course. After all, the line Shangguan Xi had drawn by hand could hardly be called a map; at best, it showed a rough arc.
"Trust me, it'll be fine," Shangguan Xi assured them. "I've used this item plenty of times, and it's never failed. If we come to a steep place, it'll stop automatically. It definitely
