The property transfers weren't happening quite as quickly, but they'd already gone beyond the maximum area she'd requested and were expanding across all of Hai City.
The Outer District Players were now fighting among themselves. Some players on the outskirts of Hai City were heading toward the amusement park. This was good news for them: the fighting had drawn the players' attention, giving Painted Woman the perfect opportunity to act. It also made the Outer District Players easy to identify. With Hai City's residents all moving out, those heading in stood out all the more.
"We've got a call." The Commander-in-Chief perked up and answered, putting it on speaker.
"I'm ready," said the slender voice on the phone. "I'll start in one minute. My destination is the Pearl Hotel. Six minutes from now—at exactly 7:31 p.m.—you must blow up the hotel."
"We've already made all the necessary arrangements around the hotel," the Commander-in-Chief said.
"Good. That's all I have to say." Xu Huo was about to hang up when the elderly man in Capital City said, "The country will remember what you've done. Please make sure you come back safely."
The call ended.
Xu Huo casually tossed aside what he was holding and asked Painted Woman, "Do you remember the steps I told you?"
