The Biggest Risk in the Elevator Game
"You haven't figured out how this dungeon game works. The real danger isn't on any of the floors—it's in the elevator."
"This dungeon is an elevator game. There were 195 people when we entered, and each elevator had a capacity of thirteen. Everyone could have been evenly distributed among the elevators, but when we went from the fifteenth floor to the fourteenth, fifteen people disappeared."
Jiang Yihua and Da Zhi wore identical expressions in the darkness. In unison, they asked, "Weren't they killed by the spiders?"
Since there had been so many people when they entered, they hadn't paid attention to the exact number at first. They'd only counted the dead after the spiders attacked on the fourteenth floor, and hadn't thought about how many people had survived.
