In the Head Chopper Demon dungeon, Xu Huo had met a stranded player who'd performed a hanging act. The man had revealed that after missing dungeons for three months, the game would forcibly send a player to a high-risk Random Instance. It would do this no more than three times, and the more times a player skipped, the more dangerous the Random Instance would be.
But players couldn't necessarily get a ticket in every dungeon. Tickets were scarce by nature. Being allowed to do two low-level dungeons a year was, to some extent, the game giving players a way out. After all, tickets belonging to players of the same level weren't always easy to snatch. But with a bit of luck, players could still enter a lower-level dungeon.
That was only a stopgap, though. Taking part in low-level dungeons wouldn't get you any decent items, and might even bring severe punishment. So anyone who planned to barge into low-level dungeons to reap players' lives and items would only end up losing more than they gained.
Xu Huo didn't believe the game cared all that much whether a particular dungeon's players lived or died. It could let a new game district turn into a Livestock Farm, after all. A handful—or even a dozen—players meant little. So the punishment probably focused on how much a High-level Player damaged the dungeon's grounds and rules. Otherwise, during the Super Artifact incident, High-level Players from the Outer District wouldn't have been able to enter District 014 through a dungeon.
The harshest punishment was being branded a Wanted Criminal. That meant more than simply being unable to get tickets. Take "V's tools," for example. A Wanted Criminal would surely be hunted by every game faction, and the game would definitely offer rewards for killing one.
