Most of the players present had been in the dungeon for no more than five days. Those who still had time left weren't willing to take the risk. If things didn't go as Feng the Artist claimed, they might have to face the dungeon's retaliation for the rest of their time here.
A few players whose time was almost up were indeed tempted.
They had started experiencing certain hallucinations.
The player who set fire to the hotel today could very well be them tomorrow or the day after.
Xu Huo wasn't entirely against Feng the Artist's idea, either.
The only problem was that they knew too few clues. The dungeon description said nothing about the rules that couldn't be broken; players had to figure them out on their own.
Their situation was like that of livestock penned in a cage. The owner, beyond their understanding, would occasionally take a few of them out to kill. Sometimes they caught sight of a hand or a knife reaching in, but they had no idea what rules governed the owner's actions.
The rain had eased. Fang Penghui glanced outside. "Whatever we do, we'll have to wait until tomorrow morning."
By now, the players had clearly split into three groups.
The first group, represented by Feng the Artist and Brother Shi, favored taking the initiative.
The second group consisted of Fang Penghui, Tian Kun, Wei Xian, and others. They hoped the players could join forces to face the dungeon's purge, which might come in two days.
The third group included Xu Huo, the Black Shirt Player, and a few others who kept to themselves. It wasn't clear what they had in mind, but they obviously didn't want to act with either of the other groups.
