"It'll take another two days to clear the dungeon." Wei Xian didn't know much about the situation at Sifang Palace. Even after blowing up the sluice gate, he still couldn't relax. He was more worried that they'd provoked the Dungeon Boss and would face retaliation.
"If it wants to kill people, it makes no difference whether the sluice gate was blown up or not." Xu Huo smiled faintly, then added, "We still have two days in the game. Bian Jin and Yi Pei are badly hurt. Let's get them back to rest first. We have other things to do."
Wei Xian opened his mouth, but didn't ask what he'd meant. Instead, he helped Yi Pei onto his back.
By the time they returned to the county town, dawn had begun to break. They found a courtyard to stay in, and after resting, Xu Huo and Wei Xian went to the residents' homes to collect flammable materials. They placed them in the half of the hotel that was still standing.
The hotel wouldn't be hard to burn down, but once they left, the Dungeon Boss could rebuild it whenever he wanted. It wouldn't accomplish much.
"What's the point of this?" Wei Xian asked as he dug the Stone Carvings out of the woods, following Xu Huo's instructions, and carved childish doodles into them. "Once we're gone, the Dungeon Boss can make the locals destroy every last one of these things."
Xu Huo was doing the same thing. "At least it'll cause him some trouble. How can you say it's pointless?"
Wei Xian was at a loss for words. He muttered, "What good is causing him trouble?" then bent back to his work.
