Xu Huo had thought a man like him would surely find a suitable time to leave. He hadn't expected him to actually plan on staying in District 011 long-term.
Dr. Deng didn't beat around the bush. "You've heard about District 009, right?"
Xu Huo sat down in the Tea Hall. "A little."
Dr. Deng let out a breath. "Dr. Wu was seen in District 009."
Xu Huo's expression shifted. "Is that confirmed?"
"The source is absolutely reliable. I just didn't see him with my own eyes, so I can't be sure the Dr. Wu they mentioned is the person I'm looking for." Dr. Deng was very serious.
"You want me to take you to District 009?" Xu Huo raised an eyebrow. "You don't know what the situation there is like? There's definitely going to be a large-scale player massacre soon. It wouldn't be safe for me to go, let alone take you along."
"But it's the Perfect Evolution Potion!" Dr. Deng said gravely. "Don't you want it?"
"Of course I do," Xu Huo said. "But my life matters more."
Dr. Deng studied him. "I thought you weren't afraid to die."
"This has nothing to do with being afraid to die. Everything I do depends on me staying alive. What use is an Evolution Potion to a dead man?"
Dr. Deng clearly hadn't expected that answer. He stood up angrily. "So many people would risk their lives for the Perfect Evolution Potion, and you're not willing to take even the slightest risk. I misjudged you!"
"Taking risks has to be worth it. You said yourself the information might not be true." Xu Huo continued, "Besides, how many people in the game are looking for Dr. Wu? Why would he happen to show up in a sub-district that's about
