Chapter Summaries

As the new King of District 031, Xu Huo imposed binding laws on the Twelve Main Cities and allied army, requiring their governors and core players to sign The Hidden Lawsuit. He then activated the teleportation apparatus, allowing many players to leave before the channel shut down and destroyed its controls.

• Xu Huo assigned Treeheart City and Red Carpet City to the allied army and players from the other stranded cities, while leaving the other two cities to Lou Fei and the remaining governors.
• Xu Huo expanded the laws restricting governors, warfare, human experimentation, forced reproduction, and the killing of ordinary people and Ticket players.

The Suitcase Man launched a devastating attack on the Platinum Eye, crippling its systems and taking residents hostage. Xu Huo headed there as the city descended into chaos, while the chapter revealed that Bai Kou had tried to activate the city’s defenses moments before the attack began.

• The Suitcase Man’s puppets infiltrated the Platinum Eye, disabling equipment, causing energy weapons to explode, and attacking its Science and Technology Museums as players and residents were killed, missing, or taken hostage.
• The District Government sent two waves of top players to contain the Suitcase Man, then cut off support; other cities sent Elite Players to rescue people while avoiding heavy weapons that could harm civilians.
• Xu Huo checked the situation through Dimension Below, confirmed a standoff involving the suspected deserter, Sun Eye, and Meteor Star, and used a Return Ticket to travel to the Platinum Eye.

The Suitcase Man’s attack devastated the Platinum Eye, overwhelming its defenses and causing widespread destruction. Xiao Yuan and Tan Qi fled through the chaos, but the chapter ended as an unknown hand rested on Xiao Yuan’s head.

• Players attacked the darkness above the city, but the Suitcase Man repelled their weapons and blasted through the Platinum Eye’s defenses.
• Explosions and falling debris reached Old Mrs. Lu’s home, where Xiao Yuan and Tan Qi assembled an unfinished instrument and fled toward an evacuation point.

Xu Huo searched for the children amid the Suitcase Man’s attack on Platinum Eye, learning that Xiao Yuan and Tan Qi had been rescued while Old Mr. Xi feared the attacker had traced a forged authorization document back to him. As Xu Huo helped survivors and studied the Suitcase Man’s powers, Bai Kou and five others confronted him in the battle above the city.

• Xu Huo found yellow flowers near Old Mrs. Lu’s residence as doll-like figures searched the ruined streets and the Suitcase Man battled Platinum Eye’s defenders overhead.
• The Suitcase Man used his Dark Space and black spheres to kill players, and Bai Kou and five other players moved to stop him.

Xu Huo rescued Xin Rong from looters at the Xin family estate and learned that the Platinum Eye had been attacked over a new energy chip. As the city’s players continued resisting the Suitcase Man, Bai Kou vowed that he would pay for the destruction.

• Xu Huo entered the Xin family estate, where looters had attacked the people left behind after Xin Rong and the family elders departed.
• Xu Huo incapacitated the looters and rescued Xin Rong, who had been captured and injured.

• Suitcase Man poisoned and tortured Bai Kou while dodging the instruments’ attacks, and she declared that the Platinum Eye would kill him to deter future attacks.
• Xu Huo emerged from My Heart is Gloomy, rescued Bai Kou from the prism, and told her to open the Super Dimensional Instrument and leave using a Ticket.

Xu Huo and Bai Kou struggled to escape the Suitcase Man’s black power as Platinum Eye Players tried to intervene. Xu Huo gained control over the black vortices with Time Power, freed himself from the crystal cocoon, and ended the chapter facing the Suitcase Man again.

• Bai Kou shielded Xu Huo from the Suitcase Man’s black power, and they used a Super Dimensional Instrument to reach an opening in the dome.
• The Suitcase Man blocked their escape, so Xu Huo protected them with a crystal cocoon and repeatedly used the Inversion Ring to delay him.
• A Platinum Eye elder tried to rescue them, but the Suitcase Man’s black power killed the elder and the Players who had arrived with him.
• A streak of light struck the crystal cocoon, and further blasts weakened the black power as the Suitcase Man focused on a point of light in the sky.
• Xu Huo discovered that Time Power could slow the black vortices and restrain the Suitcase Man, then removed an instrument from Bai Kou’s leg and watched her disappear.
• As the crystal cocoon broke apart, Xu Huo faced the Suitcase Man and said, “Until next time.”

Xu Huo struggled to keep Bai Kou alive while seeking treatment for the poison coursing through her body. After she woke and insisted on returning to the Platinum Eye, he injected her with a powerful Antidote, leaving her convulsing inside the surgical pod as he waited outside.

• Xu Huo used King Fungus threads and his own blood to slow the poison attacking Bai Kou, then traveled to D07-013 to grow more fungus.
• When the fungus and Antidotes failed to cure Bai Kou, Xu Huo took her to Gao Ming in District 039 for surgery.

• Minister Ji said the Special Defense Department had dispatched elite squads carrying Random Instance trigger artifacts, and Team Leader Ming reported no sign of Super Players.

Yan Jiayu killed one attacker, but the Wanted Criminal used needle-like threads to seize civilians and force her to choose between surrendering and sacrificing herself.

• The Special Defense Department gathered Yan Jiayu, Zhou Ning, Yuan Yao, Liu Jia, and Shen Xin in Ting City as unrest and crimes spread across the country.
• Team Leader Wu warned that a Wanted Criminal and his Players were approaching after raiding bases and ambushing Special Defense Department squads.
• Yan Jiayu rushed outside the city, killed one Player with her metal rod, and ordered the rest to leave District 014 or face her.

Xu Huo returned during the Wanted Criminal’s hostage crisis in Ting City, killed him, and then eliminated several other A-class Wanted Criminals. He left the Special Defense Department with orders to publish the locations of Outer District Players responsible for mass casualties.

• Yan Jiayu and the Elite Player teams confronted the Wanted Criminal, but he entered Ting City and suspended hundreds of residents as hostages.
• The Wanted Criminal demanded A-class items and killed civilians as the Special Defense Department searched for him.
• As explosions spread through Ting City, Xu Huo appeared behind the Wanted Criminal and told the Players to rescue the hostages.

• After receiving the national map and orders to support him, Xu Huo teleported to the southwestern border, where he was caught in a battle between Country X and invading forces.
• Xu Huo captured an enemy Player and questioned him about the Player who had wounded Country X’s teams, but the captive died when a Micro Bomb destroyed his heart.

Xu Huo sealed most of Country X with the Sky Light Domain, trapping Outer District Players inside as Nie Xuan's team fought them. Xu Huo intervened to save Nie Xuan's team, and the remaining outsiders recognized him as the Player who killed the “Tailor.”

• Xu Huo activated the Sky Light Domain, sealing most of Country X and dividing a fleeing group of Outer District Players.
• Nie Xuan's team caught up with the trapped Players, but the crew cut big man and his companions attacked and badly injured several team members.
• The Outer District Players restrained Nie Xuan's team and prepared to kill them.
• Xu Huo created a spatial sphere around the attackers and split it in half, cutting five Players at the waist.
• Xu Huo immobilized two more Players, while the five outsiders beyond the barrier recognized him as the Player who killed the “Tailor.”

Xu Huo and Nie Xuan discussed the Ghastly Sound Knights’ possible plan to target ordinary people in Country X and agreed to prioritize finding them. Xu Huo then traveled between combat zones to fight Outer District Players, and his victories helped several Level One combat zones subside.
