A Bai stared straight into the giant serpent's greedy eyes, his expression cold. "Use whatever tricks you have."
"Otherwise, hisst~."
A Bai stuck out his scarlet forked tongue. "I'll gouge out your eyes!"
"Creaaak~"
An arrow formed from a fierce wind, carrying tremendous force, stabbed viciously toward the transparent barrier.
A visible dent appeared.
"Creaaak~ Creaaak~"
Fine cracks spread across it.
Just a little more.
A Bai's pupils narrowed slightly, and his tail rose high.
Then he slammed it viciously into the "arrow" embedded in the barrier.
"Pfft~"
A soft sound rang out, like paper being pierced.
Then, "Crash~"
The transparent barrier shattered with a thunderous boom.
It turned into countless points of light that faded into the air.
The scene was rather dreamlike.
The giant serpent froze, completely unable to react. Its eye suddenly throbbed with pain, and the "arrow" had already pierced its serpentine pupil.
"Awooo~"
The giant serpent let out a howl.
Black blood flowed down, carrying an ominous aura.
"Hiss hiss~"
A Bai pressed his advantage. With a twist of his body, another arrow formed from fierce wind shot out with a sharp whistle, tearing through the air.
Before the white mark had even faded, the giant serpent's wail suddenly rose in pitch, shaking dust loose from every corner of the room.
The fierce wind slowly dissipated, but black blood continued gushing from the two wounds in the giant serpent's eyes.
Its pure-white, flawless body was stained black.
Blood dripped onto the ground.
"Zzzzt~"
The floor was corroded into one black hole after another.
"Hiss~ Still refusing to reveal your true form!"
A Bai grew angry just looking at the monster's appearance.
