As she spoke, the woman was already beside the child. She hurriedly took off his jacket and threw it viciously in front of the old woman. "Here!"
She grabbed the child by the arm and started to leave.

The old woman reached out and grabbed the young boy by the wrist.

"I want Little Guy."
The answer never changed.
The woman was beside herself. "How the hell am I supposed to know where this Little Guy of yours is?!"
"Why don't you call the adults in your family and have them come take the old woman home?"
The man put a hand on the woman's shoulder and looked at Wang Man, his expression just as grim.
But they were dealing with two skinny, frail young women. He couldn't be too aggressive.
Otherwise, people might say that a grown man was bullying two young girls.
Then even if he was in the right, he'd end up in the wrong.
Wang Man and Chi Xiuke exchanged a look. For a moment, neither of them knew what to do.

If her grandmother found Little Guy, that would be fine. Even if no one else could see it, as long as her grandmother found Little Guy, Wang Man would be willing to apologize on her behalf if necessary.
